Another Fantastic Drill Weekend! This weekend, the cadets of the Battleship Utah (BB-31) Division and T.S. Bennion had the opportunity to drill alongside our sister unit, the Jake Garn Squadron!
We were excited to welcome several new cadets into our Sea Cadet family and look forward to watching them grow throughout their Sea Cadet journey!
Our cadets also had the honor of attending the Change of Command Ceremony, where LCDR Bodily officially assumed command of the Jake Garn Squadron. Congratulations, LCDR Bodily!
One of the highlights of the weekend was spending time with the U.S. Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team! Cadets learned about the important work these Airmen perform and got an up-close look at some of their specialized equipment. They even had the opportunity to try on an EOD bomb suit! Of course, the cadets couldn’t resist encouraging a few of our officers to give it a try as well!
It was a weekend filled with learning, teamwork, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences!
Pictures are coming soon! Stay tuned for some great moments from the weekend!Bravo Zulu to all our cadets and officers for another successful drill weekend!
